The resort closed its doors on August 18th to undergo a major transformation designed to enhance our mutual guest's experience with upgraded facilities and exciting new amenities. Riu Jalisco will reopen on December 20th, 2025, better than ever and ready to welcome guests with refreshed spaces and new amenities. Here’s what you can look forward to: - A full renovation of guest rooms and hotel facilities, featuring a sleek, modern design with neutral tones – including the lobby, restaurants, bars, and sports & entertainment areas - A new building housing a Sports Bar, an “American Country” restaurant, and an ice cream parlour. - A redesigned pool area with four swimming pools, including one with a Swim-Up Bar, plus a brand-new “Splash” playground for children - A revamped gym and updated RiuLand kids club. . - Two new Plaza Bars and a dedicated DJ cabin for vibrant nightlife experiences. - New “Pepe’s Food” Grill and Taco Station for delicious casual dining.
