Plaza Sotomayor - The square is dominated by the imposing Regional Naval Headquarters and a fine statue to the "Heroes of Iquique."Cerro Concepcion - This hill is the location of the Anglican church dating from 1854.Cerro Bellavista - Reached from Plaza de la Victoria, the hill features an open-air exhibit that boasts a collection of 20 murals painted on the exterior of the buildings.Camino Cintura - This is the main road that connects all the hills above Valparaiso. Woolen articles are considered good buys, in particular hand-knit sweaters and handwoven throw rugs. Also of interest are semi-precious stones fashioned into attractive jewelry and artisan copper work. A handicraft market is located inside the port area.Food
Chile's coast is known for its great variety of seafood, including large lobsters from Juan Fernandez Island. King crabs, abalone, prawns and giant mussels are also favorites.
