Swedish crystal and ceramics, art glass, wooden toys, dolls and clothing are favorite buys. A good selection of gifts can be found in Stockholm's big department stores, such as NK and Ahlens. A Value-Added Tax (MOMS) is levied at the rate of 25% on most articles. Guests living outside the European Union can get a tax rebate of about 15-18% on purchases over SEK 200 at stores bearing the tax-free shopping insignia. Be sure to ask the store to fill in a form; you can get the appropriate tax rebate in cash prior to departing Europe.Food
