Activities

Located in the centre of Plaka, the capital of Milos, the archaeological museum of Milos was founded in 1985 and is housed in a beautiful neo-classical building. The museum has many archaeological findings which represent the history of the island since the Neolithic age. The beautiful island of Milos Greece is surrounded by amazing beaches with crystal-clear turquoise waters and fine sand that can be golden, grey, white or red, depending from the beach. The diversity of the colour of the sand is due to the volcanic landscape of the island which has also created unique white, red or brown rock formations.
