Fjorgyn - Norse Goddess of the Earth
Norse mythology’s Mother Earth, Fjorgyn has been associated with the start of the growing season, when Norway’s soils were nurtured for planting seeds. She was the mother of Thor, the mighty thunder god and son of Odin. As such, she was also an adversary of Odin’s wife Frigg.
Designed by legendary naval architects Yran & Storbraaten, the team behind The Yachts of Seabourn, these new vessels offer state-of-the-art engineering, design and luxury. The Viking Longships provide guests with more ways to personalize their trip. Choose from a variety of stateroom classes thanks to their patent pending design, onboard entertainment options and ship locations from which you can enjoy sailing through the scenery, all the while enriching your time in some of Europe’s most remarkable destinations.

Dining
Located at the bow of the ship, the Aquavit Terrace is a casual outdoor space where your destination is your dining room. Serving both breakfast and lunch, it provides the most al fresco dining on Europe’s rivers.

Entertainment

Located in the heart of the Upper deck adjacent to the Aquavit Terrace, the library has comfortable seating and excellent reading light. Our ships’ libraries carry approximately 80 books, in various languages but mostly English, and several games such as chess, backgammon and playing cards. Pick up a magazine or board game and enjoy it in the lounge just steps away.

Forget to bring something? Looking for a magazine or some gift items? The onboard boutique on the main deck has everything you need to make your voyage comfortable and convenient.

Enjoy sunshine and fresh air while you take in 360-degree views of the scenery. Stand at the railings or relax in a comfortable deck chair. Some of the seating has a canopy for those who prefer shade. The sun deck is adjacent to the Sky Bar and there is an access way to the bridge.
