Dining
Included for Suite guests; upgrade available for Cabin guests
Enjoy a delightful tea service with a Norwegian twist at Røst. Tuck in to a selection of open sandwiches, delicate macarons, delicious tartlets, and freshly baked cakes and pastries.
Choose from an array of fine teas or add a touch of celebration with a glass of sparkling wine, including the special Havets Bobler – our very own ‘bubbles of the sea’.
Named after the northern Sámi word for the fire found at the heart of their traditional lavvo tent, Brasserie Árran specialises in traditional Norwegian cuisine with a twist.
It’s a place for people to gather and share stories, which is exactly what we hope you’ll do here. The dark wood, leather, and rough-hewn stone create a warm and rustic feel that reflects the hearty food on the menu.
Here, you can dine on traditional dishes with a modern twist such as bidos (a Sámi reindeer stew), souvas (sliced smoked reindeer meat) with lingonberry aioli, or pickled herring on rye bread with cured egg yolk.
You can dine in Brasserie Árran for lunch or dinner (open: 12:00-21:00).
Our main restaurant, Flora is inspired by Norway’s edible herbs, berries, mushrooms, flowers, fruit, and vegetables.
Depending on what’s in season, you could try dishes such as lightly smoked Arctic char, plant-based Wellington with sugar kelp, or confit Trøndersopp mushrooms from our own kelp farm.
Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style, while the evening menu is à la carte.
This changes every night of your voyage, curated around the port we have visited that day, meaning that you will never eat the same dish twice.
Sailings on MS Trollfjord are all-inclusive, and all main meals are included and served in the main restaurant, Flora.
- Breakfast: 07:00–10:00 (buffet)
- Lunch: 12:00–14:00 (buffet)
- Dinner: 18:00–20:00 (plated 3-course meal)
Inspired by the ancient fish bank of Røst in the Lofoten Islands, our fine-dining restaurant is a homage to the produce that helped established Norway: fish.
The food in Røst is based on the flora and fauna that flourishes beneath our ships as they sail along the coast.
Its three-to-five course menu rotates throughout the voyage, featuring 16 beautiful, palate-pleasing seasonal dishes.
Alongside the stockfish that Norway’s economy – and heritage – was built on, you might dine on salmon or reindeer as well as more unexpected ingredients such as seaweed, kelp, Arctic pearls (a vegan roe), and sea urchins.
What’s more, our resident sommeliers are on hand to help pair each dish with the perfect wine or expertly crafted mocktail.
Fine dining at Røst (open for breakfast 07:00-10:00, lunch 12:00-14:00 and dinner 18:00-20:00) is included for Suite guests and can be added as an onboard upgrade for other cabin categories.
