The ship is beautifully appointed and decorated in the Art Deco style that was modern when the first ship with this name was built. Rich colours, bold geometric shapes and lavish ornamentation characteristic of the Art Deco style. She is the only ship with both a swimming pool and Jacuzzi∘ on deck. A defining feature on the MS Finnmarken is her bow; from deck 5 you can actually go all the way to the tip.

MS Finnmarken has her own on-board Expedition Team, and the ship serves as a university at sea. Interesting lectures inside as well as out on the sun deck of the ship make this an exciting and educational journey. Topics depend on the season and the waters we sail in.

Hurtigruten continues to move boundaries for green technology: Through giant makeovers, three Hurtigruten vessels will be transformed to premium, hybrid powered expedition cruise ships.

As they are transformed into full-fledged premium expedition cruise ships, the current MS Finnmarken will be renamed MS Otto Sverdrup in 2021.

Expedition Grand Suite on Upper Deck
Our Expedition suites are the most luxurious cabins on board. Situated on the upper deck of the ship, the cabins feature seating areas with TV, bathrooms with shower/WC, and most with double beds. All of the suites provide complimentary cabin kits, with bathrobe, slippers and more. Some suites have more facilities than others. Enjoy these exclusive suites with two rooms, seating area, TV, kettle, tea/coffee and mini-bar. Bathroom has two sinks and bathtub. Suites have a private balcony. Enjoy the view from the double bed (180x200cm) or the lounge area.
Arctic Superior Upper deck for 2 travellers
Relaxation and comfort are the hallmarks of our Arctic Superior cabins. Situated on the ship´s upper decks, the cabins have bathrooms with shower and WC. They are also equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities. Most of the cabins have separate beds, one of which converts into a sofa, and some have double beds. All of the cabins have individual specifications.
